The Hopi Prophecy Mirrors the Mayan 2012 Prophecy, Which Continues to Unfold

The Hopi prophecy and the Mayan 2012 prophecy have uncanny similarities. Like many other ancient cultures, both used the night sky through precession to determine key elements of their predictions.

Both were cosmic travelers, and both saw the time of the great forgetting upon them with the beginning of the Hopi Fourth Age of Man in their prophecy. This coincides with the change in ages for the Maya to 9 Hells near 900 AD. The Hopi prophecy calls the Fifth World, "The World of Illumination." It appears to coincide with the Greek, now new Age of Aquarius as well. 

The word "Hopi" means "One who follows the path." The Hopi Indians have taken on this name, but anyone can be a Hopi. A Hopi seeks proper relationships with all aspects of the world.

The Hopi prophecy was given to the Hopis before the time of Christ, and has been handed down mostly by word of mouth since. An exact recount of the Hopi prophecy was required yearly by the keeper of the prophecy to ensure the purity of the rendition. But, I question some of the more specific popular versions of the Hopi prophecy, which may have a personal very specific agenda. They may be embellishments.

All three ages, the Hopi, Greek, and Mayan happen at close to the same time.

The Hopis and the Maya both had celestial brothers who played a major role in telling the story of the movement between ages. The Mayan story was the Popul Vul and the false center of the universe. For the Hopi prophecy it was the story of two brothers who will bring about purification day, when the world will be purged of evil doers and evil.

The Hopis horned serpent Awanyu resembles the Mayan Quetzacoatl, and so does the Hopi prophecy legend of the Pahana (long lost white brother), who is to return to save the people just as Quetzacoatl is slated to do.

When the Hopis and the Mayan were visited by the Spanish in the 16th century, they both thought at first they were their lost prophet. It didn't take long to realize they were the devil themselves kicking off the beginning of the age of the great forgetting or darkness for both cultures.

Both believe we are going through a period of purification with the changing of ages right now, and will reach a subsequent rise in consciousness.  This purification period will be very difficult and destructive, but short.

The Hopi prophecy says to watch for the Pahana to return from the East. This statement metaphorically represents the change in constellation ages from Pisces to Aquarius in the pre-dawn sky, which is where we are now in history. They say be wary if Pahana returns from the West. This could indicate a possible pole shift has occurred and the orientation of the earth's axis has shifted changing the view in the pre-dawn sky.

He will return wearing red, which means it is the root chakra feminine energy. His return represents the joining of the masculine and feminine energies at the heart to bring balance into the world and humanity. He brings the missing piece of sacred tablet, which is the missing feminine nurturing, compassionate, softer energy, which earth needs. It's this joining of the two aspects that will bring peace, and the values of the new great cycle or Fifth World. 

How much suffering and destruction will accompany the time of the purification? What will be the end result? Hopi elder, Martin Gasheseoma foretells judgment in front of a big mirror and death to those who are evil and wicked. Only a handful of people will survive in every nation overseas, who will then come to this continent, "which we call heaven."

Disaster clears the path for a new beginning. Watch for the new growth in the ashes of the old ways.

The values of the Hopi prophecy, the Age of Aquarius, and the Mayan 2012 prophecy appear to be the same, love, brotherhood, unity and integrity. These values are of the feminine aspect of self, which shows what I have felt all along.

This age is about the intuitive/knowing aspect coming back into our consciousness out of the subconscious mind. The subconscious mind is the realm of the feminine or Mother, who was rejected eons ago, and now is coming home to take her rightful place next to the masculine, God. These two aspects are committed to work together in harmony and balance.

It's important to heal old wounds now. Your feminine aspect has held these rejected feelings, which keep coming up into consciousness from the subconscious mind.

You know which memories I'm talking about. You don't have to look for them. They come back every time something similar triggers the feeling of that memory. They're the ones that make you uneasy or resentful. You may have tried justifying them, or maybe forgiving them, saying they don't matter, but they just won't go away. Why?

These old imprints keep affecting today's decisions till they are accepted, understood, healed and released. Byron Katie has a wonderful process on her website to release these old imprints for good. She provides this process at no charge.

If you want to know how much destruction and pain could be suffered? It will be individual and also culturally specific. Each of us has old wounds, and each culture has it's own wounds that must now be looked at and healed. The more healing, the less destruction and pain. The more victim consciousness and blame, the more pain. Ultimately, everything is about you and your work. This of course means each of us individually.

If you have not done the work of clearing old wounds, and assimilating the values of the new great age, then your journey will be very challenging.

There simply is no room for the old values. Many think they can hide in a bunker with stored food to wait out the economic and environmental disasters still to come. Some feel they have escaped them now that 2012 is over. It's not over. Not by a long shot. No one can escape their destiny. This is an inner journey. One where your safety can only be found from within, through healing the rejected feelings found buried in your subconscious mind. 

Healing is not about reciting endless mantras, or just reading the holy books, or studying under a great sage. This is "your" journey, not another's who came before you. Learn to listen to "your" emerging feminine aspect, which prompts you to go in the direction of your heart. Keep searching till you find a spiritual process that works for you. Maybe it will be a combination of many, or...one uniquely your own.

Your safety lies in assimilating the new values of the new age and allowing the old values to fall away.

Hopi prophecy stone and what it represents to the Hopis:

• The large human figure on the left is the Great Spirit. The bow in his left hand indicates his instructions to the Hopi to lay down their weapons. The vertical line to the right of the Great Spirit is a time scale in thousands of years. Where the great Spirit touches the line is the time of his return.
• The "life path" established by the Great Spirit divides into the lower, narrow path of continuous Life in harmony with nature and the wide upper road of white man's scientific achievements. The bar between the paths, above the cross, is the coming of white men; the Cross represents Christianity. The circle below the cross shows the continuous Path of Life.
• The four small human figures on the upper road represent, on one level, the past three worlds and the present; on another level, the figures indicate that some of the Hopi will travel the white man's path, having been seduced by its glamour.
• The two circles on the lower Path of Life are the "great shaking of the earth" (World Wars One and Two). The swastika in the sun and the Celtic cross represent the two helpers of Pahana, the True White Brother.
• The short line that returns to the straight Path of Life is the last chance for people to turn back to nature before the upper road disintegrates and dissipates. The small circle above the Path of Life, after the last chance, is the Great Purification, after which corn will grow in abundance again when the Great Spirit returns. And the Path of Life continues forever...
• The Hopi shield in the lower right corner symbolizes the Earth and the Four-Corners area where the Hopi have been reserved. The arms of the cross also represent the four directions in which they migrated according to the instructions of the Great Spirit.
• The dots represent the four colors of Hopi corn, and the four racial colors of humanity.

The Hopi prophecy and the Mayan 2012 prophecy, both developed elaborate mythologies to explain coming events they were able to foretell through the night sky.

The Maya explain precession of the equinoxes through mythological characters who represent key celestial occurrences in history. Through careful mathematical calculations the Maya were able to predict massive changes in our environment and economy happening in our lifetime, over 2,000 years ago.

But, the most important of all changes, and the catalyst of all the other changes is the shift in our personal values. We are living these changes today, as the shifting sands of worldwide change continue.

The Hopi prophecy predicts more specific events without a fixed time, whereas the Mayan 2012 prophecy is general and time specific. But, they both see the same bright future for this planet after the cleansing of the Fourth World or previous great cycle.

Some may consider economic debacle, job loss, families splitting up, and the earth changes as a disaster. The undoing of the old values, and all things based on these values must take place first to make room for the new ones. The key is to understand the necessity of the change, go with the momentum, and release attachment to the material aspects of the old values. The old values are about the material. The new values are about the inner.

The changes are going to happen whether you want them to or not. Your peace depends on letting the changes take place without a battle. See where they will take you? They could lead you to a simpler, more loving, and fulfilling life. The life you've always dreamt of, but felt you couldn't have.

Most of the things you think you must have, you will realize we can live without under the new values.

The material things you hold so dear now will mean nothing in the new world, which will not focus on things, but on the balance between the masculine and feminine within us all. This balance will reflect out into the world. The main emphasis will be on the intuitive/knowing aspects of self. The values of money, power and control are what has to be cleansed from this planet to make room for the new values of love, brotherhood, unity and integrity.

Assimilating these new values completely, is what will sustain you now, not the material. It's knowing what you do to another is what you do to yourself on all levels. It's together in unity we will find strength and flourish, not as every man for himself.

What you will find is greater peace, love, companionship and happiness. You will finally understand what the oneness of all things truly means.

The Hopi prophecy states that we are now entering the Fifth World, with the destruction of the Fourth World in full swing. The war will be "a spiritual conflict with material matters. Material matters will be destroyed by spiritual beings who will remain to create one world and one nation under one power, that of the Creator."

This conflict will begin when the Blue Star Kachina (Saquasohuh)(versions pictured under the heading), dances in the plaza and removing his mask before uninitiated children. The Hopi prophecy predicted World Wars I, and II. World War III has also been predicted by the Hopi prophecy to begin soon.

The United States is said, will be destroyed, land and people, by atomic bombs and radioactivity. The Fukushima nuclear disaster is far from over. I feel continued nuclear disasters is much more a possibility than a nuclear war. Nuclear disasters as well as atomic bombs would affect the entire world. 

The Hopi prophecy also states that those who are at peace in their hearts already are in the great shelter of life. But, there is no shelter for evil. These people must resume life in another world. In the Right Use of Will books, a channelled series, this scenario was clearly stated. The Hopi feel their homeland (four corners region) will be preserved as an oasis for refugees. 

The earth is seeking balance through the equalizing of the masculine and feminine energies.

The Hopi prophecy states that, "The True White Brother will bring with him two great, intelligent and powerful helpers, one of whom will have a sign of a swastika (a masculine symbol of purity), and the sign of the sun. The second great helper will have the sign of a Celtic cross with red lines (representing female life blood) between the arms of the cross."

They will bring earthquakes to shake loose the evil on the planet. The end result will be Purification Day to the world. The earth will become new and beautiful again, with an abundance of life and food. Those who are saved will share everything equally. The others will go to other worlds. All races will intermarry and speak one tongue and be a family. This is the love, unity and brotherhood aspect of the new values.

A possible pole shift is predicted where, "Turtle Island (USA) could turn over two or three times and the oceans could join hands and meet the sky." The Hopi call this an imminent possibility, which is just a reflection of society today, "Koyaanisqatsi", or "world out of balance...a state of life that calls for another way."

The Maya also show a return to our feminine intutitive/feeling side, when they state the world will wake up, after a long sleep, which started with the beginning of the age just past. We have been asleep to our feeling/knowing side, and now with the beginning of the present new age, we are waking up to her. 

The indigo children, followed by the crystal and rainbow children, were the first larger groups of humanity to show signs of waking up to the important, forgotten feminine aspect of self.

The children of today, the indigo, crystal and rainbow children were born with most of these values already in place. They are far more intuitive than their parents. Their value difference has caused a lot of conflict in families.

The indigos are having a hard time, because they don't feel they fit into this world. They're right! It's the new world coming that is their world, not this one.

Conclusion:

White Feather, a Hopi elder had no choice. He recited this ancient prophecy, which began with the beginning of the Fourth World to a white minister, Reverend David Young. All of White Feather's sons had passed before him, and there was no one left to carry the message of this ancient wisdom on to the next generation. Even this was foretold to happen in the prophecy.

The Fourth World shall end soon, because most of the Signs have been fulfilled. The Hopi elders everywhere know and watch for the final signs. Only one possibly remains:

"And this is the Ninth and Last Sign: You will hear of a dwelling-place in the heavens, above the earth, that shall fall with a great crash. It will appear as a blue star. very soon after this, the ceremonies of my people will cease."

According to the Hopi prophecy, once this sign is conclusive, since all the others have been fulfilled, the great destruction will come. The great shaking of the earth will begin from the masculine and feminine spiritual forces.  They will destroy evil on the planet. Disease and a great dying will begin. 

It is said then that Pahana the True Good white brother will return to plant the seeds of his wisdom into the hearts of the people who remain. This shall smooth the way to the emergence into the Fifth World. This could be a symbolic return of the long forgotten feminine aspect within us all and her joining at the heart, with the masculine. Pahana, for the Hopi, and Quetzacoatl for the Maya could represent this joining at the heart.
